Welcome to Ray. The Services help you estimate how many months of cash runway you have from live account data and classified spending. To use the core product, you must connect your bank accounts through our bank-connection provider. The Services include the website at ray.sunflower.builders, related APIs, and applications (the "Services"). Questions: contact@isaiahadekanye.com.
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a binding contract between you and Ray ("Ray," "we," and "us"). You must agree to all of the Terms, or you do not have the right to use the Services. Using the Services in any way means you agree to these Terms, including the Privacy Policy.
1. Will these Terms ever change?
We may change these Terms as the Services evolve. If we do, we will post a notice on ray.sunflower.builders and/or notify you by email or another reasonable means. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
2. Age requirement and user accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use Ray. By creating an account or using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18. You agree to provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential. Notify us immediately if you believe your account is compromised.
3. Permitted use
Ray provides personal runway calculations, account authentication, required bank linking, and transaction classification for your own use. You agree to connect the bank accounts needed for runway (typically chequing, savings, and credit) and to keep those connections in good standing. You may use the Services only in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
You may not use the Services to infringe others' rights, harass or defraud anyone, scrape or resell access, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data. Misuse may result in suspension or termination.
4. Fees
Ray may be offered free for personal use. We may introduce paid plans later; any fees, trials, or renewals will be disclosed before you are charged. Unless required by law, paid fees are non-refundable once billed.
5. Privacy Policy
By using the Services, you acknowledge our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Your data and content
You own data you upload or create through the Services ("Your Data"), including notes and classification overrides. You grant Ray a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display Your Data solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services and to comply with law.
You may request export or deletion of Your Data by contacting us, subject to legal retention obligations described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Content and intellectual property
Platform content (text, design, logos, software) is owned by Ray or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or exploit the Services for commercial resale without written permission.
The name "Ray," its logo, and related marks are property of Ray or affiliates and may not be used without consent. Infringement claims: contact@isaiahadekanye.com.
8. Third-party services
The Services integrate with third parties (for example Supabase, Google Cloud, and Plaid for required bank connections). Those services are not controlled by Ray. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms. Ray is not responsible for third-party content, availability, or security incidents on those services. Disputes with third parties must be resolved with that provider.
9. No warranties and limitation of liability
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. RUNWAY DOES NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE SERVICE, OR THE ACCURACY OF RUNWAY, BURN, OR BALANCE CALCULATIONS. YOU USE THE SERVICES AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Ray does not guarantee any financial outcome. Projections depend on connected-institution data, classification rules, and factors outside our control.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RUNWAY AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $100.
You agree to indemnify Ray from claims arising from your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and request account deletion via contact@isaiahadekanye.com. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations or conduct that harms the platform or other users. Upon termination you may lose access to stored data; back up anything important first.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Canada for disputes arising from these Terms.
